The run up to entrance exams can be a challenging time for parents and children alike.  Tailored tuition can smooth the process and ensure students are as calm, confident and well prepared as possible.

Viola is based in London but works with students throughout the UK, USA, Russia, Turkey, China and Hong Kong.  Online learning is effective and convenient, and time-efficient, fitting neatly into family life.  It has the added benefit of flexibility, so lessons need not be interrupted by travel or location change.

Essay Writing Courses

 

All students are required to write essays, but many struggle to know where to start.  This 5 part course guides students step-by-step through how to plan, structure and write great essays.  It comes with a resource workbook containing clear instructions, advice and examples that can be referred back to again and again.

Home Schooling

​

For some home schooling is choice to create a more tailored education that plays to their child's interests and strengths.  For others, it works alongside travel or facilitates a relocation.  It can also be an effective way of seeing pupils through transitions between schools or helping them to catch up due to setbacks such as illness or mental health challenges, or other disruptions to school education.  

Book Clubs 

 

A great way to get kids engaged with the world of books, the Book Club is a fun mixture of reading and discussion, and can be run for individuals or small groups of friends.  Clubs meet on Zoom and some independent reading is assigned between each meeting. Sessions can be timed according to your schedule - daily, weekly or monthly - or to reflect different time zones.
